Operations Assistant (Maternity Cover) West End £28k – £32k pro rata

The Client: A West End finance house; a place that breaks all pre-conceptions of the finance industry! They have a great team spirit and very low staff turnover which speaks for itself.

The Role: They are now looking for someone to cover the Maternity Leave of their Operations Assistant. It is a fast-paced environment which requires a high degree of organisation and attention to detail, coupled with the ability to multitask and prioritise. The role is varied and training is given wherever necessary but in essence it consists of the following;

  • Office Administration: Assist with HR & Compliance administrative tasks, provide occasional back up cover to receptionist/admin assistant, organisation of visits from contractors/suppliers and making travel arrangements as requested. Providing assistance to Research teams, keeping a log of all published reports and updating the website.
  • Invoices: Input to system of employee expenses, invoices/credit notes, logging and tracking costs, dealing with vendors payments, check credit card statements, create invoices for departments and liaise with Accounting team in overseas head office.

You will need to have some proven office experience in an administrative capacity and be the type of person who relishes being busy and challenged! Essential qualities would be an enthusiastic and positive approach with an eye for detail and high level organisational skills.

Residential Conveyancing Executive   to £35,000 + Bens Buckinghamshire

A Residential Conveyancer is required for a brilliant opportunity with a well established and award nominated law firm in Buckinghamshire.  My client was established more than 30 years ago and is a thriving and expanding legal firm providing a comprehensive range service . As a Residential Conveyancer, you will be managing a caseload of conveyancing matters, such as buying and selling freehold and leasehold property, re-mortgages, transfer of equity, and equity release. This role would suit an individual who is experienced as a Conveyancer and ideally be ‘qualified’ – Solicitor / Ilex or CLC.  It is essential that the individual can produce high quality work and be able to bring wonderful communication and client-care skills to the table.

Residential Conveyancing Secretary/Paralegal   to £24K Buckinghamshire

My client is a major legal practice with an enviable reputation and a passion for what they do and who they employ!  They are looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Secretary to provide typing and administrative support to a Senior executive and occasionally other fee earners as required.  A varied role combining the traditional support role (answering the telephone/taking messages, arranging appointments, producing completion statements arranging, sending and receiving e-mails, filing, photocopying, sending/receiving faxes) and a more admin based focus relating to conveyancing matters (dealing with clients, progressing cases, liaising with third parties, file maintenance etc)

The successful candidate will need to have strong secretarial skills including audio typing together with previous experience within the conveyancing sector.  A high standard of English grammar and spelling together with strong time management skills and the ability to deal sensitively with clients are all essential.
